First prisoner: 'Whats the matter.' Second prisoner: 'Why the Sentinel gave a Reb ten dollars to get some change for some tobacco, about two hours ago and he forgot to come back.' Guard: 'Don't you all know dat's wrong, dat's no way to treat a man, if I had known dat when he was here, I would have kill'd him on the spot.'
