Letter describes rumors of the Germans pulling out of France, the need to buy more watercolors, and shooting at the enemy. Also discusses taking the subway when he gets back home and the enjoyable parts of being in the army. Includes illustrations: idyllic French scene, soldiers firing cannon with the caption 'GIVING IT TO THEM.'
