Benedict Arnold (January 14, 1741 - June 14, 1801) was a General in the American Continental Army during the American Revolution, but defected to the British Army in 1781. Jefferson Davis (June 3, 1808 - December 6, 1889) was the first and only President of the Confederate States of America. He led the Confederate army and navy during the American Civil War.
