Colonel John H. Taggart was a member of the 12th Pennsylvania Reserves Infantry (1861-1864). The 12th Regiment Reserves Infantry (41st Volunteers) was organized Aug. 1861 at Harrisburg, Pa. and mustered out June 11, 1864.
