Four-page letter from Gerrit Smith of Peterboro [New York] to Theodore D. Weld in Saratoga Springs [New York] in response to inquiry regarding antislavery lecturers and the disbursement of his property. Smith suggests two ministers by the name of Rev. A. Scofield and Elder Corey. Reference is made to the Mad. Co.[probably Madison County] Antislavery Society.
