Manuscript letter in the hand of Wiliam Lloyd Garrison, for publication to advertise a "mass celebration" of the anniversary of the emancipation of 800,000 slaves in the West India Islands [undated, but probably 1846]. On back in red, "Insert this evening - Wednesday morning - Thursday morning and evening." Addressed to Mr. R. F. Wallent, Antislavery Office, Boston.
