Rogers, Thomas, CaptainOthello (Brig)
Memo relating charges
Unsigned letter with no addressee regarding charges from Captain [Thomas] Rogers [possibly on the Brig Othello] for wood, canoe hire, corn, and water. The author writes that, "if you possibly can imagine this to be a reasonable charge, pray allow it to him - but it is more than double we were ever charg'd by those that brought off twice the number of slaves."
