[Page 86] I had some assistance part of the way. Got that Night to Hinkmans, at one of ye Clock, Took Some Rest. Munday, Sept. 23rd. Rose Early in the morning, Traviled to Mr. Conkling�s, took Breckfast, Staid Some time Trying to git a waggon and Horse to bring my family Down to Southhold. Lodged that Night at Cousin Hannah Henrys. Tuesday 24th. Took Breckfast, got Liberty to goe in Capt. Webb�s vessel that was going up Marrigo River with Mr. Hubbard�s goods. Staid that Night at the Same place. Wednesday 25th. Took Breckfast, traveld Down to the vessel at Cachoginlet. Mr. Hubbard�s Family & goods all got on Board, we Come to Sail aBout Twelve o Clock. Came to Sterling, went on Shore to take in Stock. At Eving Capt. Goldsmith Came along Side. I went on Board of him for he was Bound to headquarters. Staid on Board ye night.
