Pictorial Envelope: 1 envelope; 3 x 5 1/2 in. Sailor with sword drawn and foot on anchor holds American flag. White envelope with colored ink. Image on left. Addressed to Mr. Isaac P. Ball, esq., Fish Kill Landing, Duchess Co. NY. Return address: William R. Green. Postmarked Wash. D.C., Aug. 7.

Isaac P. Ball was the recipient of the letter contained in this envelope. Though only a return address is given, William P. Green was likely the sender and author of the once contained letter.
