Receipt for wages paid to George Larm by Captain John Duncan of the Brig Othello, includes deduction from wages for 3 1/2 gallons rum "stole out of a cask that was tapt in the head with a gimblet by you or some your ship mates you must pay for among yourselves." On back, note dated March 21, 1771 verifying receipt of payment signed by Boyle Vandeleure of Barbados.
