: A list of slaves belonging to Mr. Edw'd Ambler in Hanover and Louisa County; List of "fifteen men, tweny-five women, sixteen boys, and eleven girls, in all 67" slaves belonging to Mr. Edw'd [Edward] Ambler in Hanover and Louisa County [Virginia]. Includes names and ages of each slave. On back, later additions to document dated May 31, 1765 and "this year 1766" list items purchased for "negroes to be clothed."

: A return of the apraisement [sic] of the Property of Bartholomew Gartman, Dec.; Four-page inventory of Bartholomew Gartman of Jefferson County, Georgia, regarding his estate at the time of his death. Identifies two slaves, "1 negro man named Limbrick [?]; 1 negro girl nam'd Peggy," among livestock and household goods. Signed on last page by administrators of the estate, Solomon Hood, Charly Higdon, and Shomake Holden. Made official and signed by Jas. [James] Bozeman.

: A true and perfect inventory of the estate of David Tinsley Dece'd [deceased]; Three-page inventory of the estate of David Tinsley of Caroline County [Virginia]. Identifies four slaves, "Jemmy a negro fellow, Tom a negro fellow, Plato a negro boy, Tamer a negro girl" along with household goods and livestock. Signed by executors Mary Tinsley, Ja. [James] Jameson, Thos. [Thomas] Daniel, Thos. [Thomas] Sale. Made official and signed by Benjamin Robinson of the Caroline County Court on March 8, 1759.

: A. S. Circular from the Decade meeting Dec. 1843, American A. S. Soc.; Three-page manuscript circular letter from the American Anti-Slavery Society, soliciting donations to sustain operation of the organization.

: A. S. Petition for the rights of the Col'd Citizen; Petition letter [from the Massachusetts Anti-Slavery Society] asking the Senate and House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to protest in United States Supreme Court against the wrongful imprisonment of "colored citizens" employed on trade ships arriving at the ports of slaveholding states.

: Account Sales of Six Negro Slaves receiv'd & the Sloop Hare Caleb Godfrey Com'dr from Africa; Account record for the sale of slaves aboard the Sloop Hare by Captain Caleb Godfrey on behalf of Robert Stevens and Saml. [Samuel] and Wm. [William] Vernon [of Newport, Rhode Island]. Includes expenses of medical costs and coffins for slaves that died during the voyage.

: Account of Disbursements on Board the Sloop Louisa on a Voige to Affrica kept by Benjamin Weaver Master; Expense record of Captain Benjamin Weaver aboard the Sloop Louisa in Riopongo [probably Rio Pongo, Guinea], listing purchases of provisions and slaves dated December 22, 1805 through February 26, 1806.

Vernon Gardner & Co.; Account record for sales of slaves aboard the Ship Ascension at Mozambique by Samuel Chace on behalf of Messrs. Vernon Gardner & Co. [William Vernon and Caleb Gardner]. Includes purchases of blankets, medical expenses, and "landing" fees, as well as a sale of 33 slaves to Don Thomas Antonio Romero in Mozambique.

Lists names of account holders for said cargo, Geo. [George] Gardner, Thos. [Thomas] Cranston; David Earl, Benj. [Benjamin] Greene, Nathaniel Coggeshall, Richardson and Johnathan [and/or John] Thurston.

: An Appeal to Abolitionists; Three-page printed circular letter from the American Anti-Slavery Society, soliciting donations that will support the "gratuitous distribution" of anti-slavery publications in pro-slavery areas. Followed by manuscript note from H. B. Stanton to Francis Jackson in Boston, Mass., giving a personal apppeal for funds.

: An account of sales of 2 Negroes and 12 [] of Rum of the Sloop Union, Caleb Cory Commander at Savannah in Georgia; One-page list of accounts of the Sloop Union at Savannah, Georgia, under the command of Caleb Cory. Includes the sale of "2 negroes." Additional note at bottom reads, "Savannah in Georgia May 28 1753 - Errors Encyned [?] Joseph Phillip."
