[Lysander] Spooner in Boston [Massachusetts] to George Bradburn in Cleveland, Ohio, instructing on where to send letters to Mrs. [Elizabeth] Sargeant, and to pick up a letter from her friend, Miss Julia Johnson. Also discusses abolitionist activities and arguments appearing in Spooner's new book.

Dated Boston, Mary 1856. On back, extensive list of names titled "Early Abolitionists" dated December 16, 1831, identifying several notable abolitionists including William Lloyd Garrison and David Lee Child.

Followed by an additional note dated February 24, in which he mentions [Samuel E.] Sewall's criticisms of Spooner's work.
